Breakfast in Toyoko Inn Busan Station No.1
Property Building in Toyoko Inn Busan Station No.1
The staff was able to accommodate changing my room from smoking to nonsmoking as I didn't realize the type until I was checking in (this was a last minute booking so careless mistake). There was only a mini double available so I got that one for an extra $8 from the original twin room. Check in was pretty seamless and check out was literally handing over the key. The bathtub was a good size, has a bidet (warm toilet seat is heaven) and the airconditioner worked well, very important in the summer time. Location is perfect especially if you're catching a morning train from Busan. The double bed was comfortable. The room is a bit compact but I think for 2 people would be good enough. Great for solo travelers. There's body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a packet of skin care products. Disposable razors and toothbrush sets are for sale I think in the lobby as they're trying to be more sustainable. There's a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and a popular Busan fishcake store just a skip away. Free breakfast is a plus and covers the basics like toast, boiled eggs, coffee, juice soup, rice, some side dishes (to make bibimbap?), and salad. I only stayed a night so I don't know if the breakfast menu changes at all.

We picked this hotel primarily because it's right beside the Busan KTX station which is really convenient. The lobby was clean and it offered amenities like vending machine for currency exchange as well as toiletries and some beverages. There's also free pajama (overalls) which you can just get from a cabinet at the lobby. Our room is the budget double room so it's pretty small but it was clean, including the bathroom. Room had TV, hair dryer, electric kettle, bedroom slippers; bathroom had body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Having that signature Japanese bidet in the toilet is always a plus 👍 Room cleaning is available daily; you just need to inform front desk before 10AM. Buffet breakfast offered a variety of porridge, rice, bread; kimchi and other side dishes like ddeokbokki; cereals and milk; sausages and mandu; coffeee. They also change some of the side dishes each day 😊

Could NOT get a better location, 50 metres from the Busan Rail Station, (exit gate 7) and Metro very close by, T-money card works in Busan. Unable to check in until 4:00pm as the hotel cleaners are hard at work. Can leave your bags at the lobby under lock & key. Reception personnel speak English as in my case and hardly anybody else does. Room spotlessly clean, shower pressure great shampooetc supplied, Breakfast caters for Asians and foreigner's. NewTube available (free). Hop off/hop on buses only 30 metres away ($15.000 per day) and possible you can do all 3 lines in 1 day. The 3 lifts are busy during breakfast time due to people going to/from breakfast (F2) and checking out. Also there a weight limit in them. The lift will tell you if it's over the weight limit. Free wifi available.

Very close to Busan station, just a few steps away from exit 6. Though the room is small, it is clean and has everything i needed. The bathroom is clean with heated toilet seat and bidet, there’s also bath tub and hot/cold shower. Good wifi connection, toiletries and bath essentials are provided. There’s TV, mini fridge and safe box inside the room. You will also have a great view of Busan Port and sea view. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. The Busan City Tour Bus is just outside the building. There’s free buffet breakfast which i love.

Facility is located in strategic position next to the main station. Rooms are clean, simple but well equipped with a small fridge, tv, bath. In the hall there are laptops and printer at guests' disposal. Also available is a water dispenser free of charge. For other drinks there's a vending machine. Bath stuff like soap, tooth brush etc is also free of charge. The reception personnel are friendly and speak good English. Good coffee at breakfast.
